Spencer Stage School

We invite children of all ages and abilities to join our weekly classes or holiday workshops. 

Spencer Stage School was born out of a passion for the arts held by founder and principal, Alys. Alys wanted to create a school that encourages and fosters students whatever their ability and ambitions.​

We welcome children of all abilities and ages to join our weekly classes or holiday workshops. We also offer trials for our competition teams and are happy to advise the best selection of classes for your child.

Spencer Stage School provides a safe, fun and inclusive environment where anyone can express themselves, grow in confidence, make new friends and develop their creativity.

SSS is committed to providing excellent training and giving our students all the tools to reach their potential. â€‹You can train to become a professional, take exams and compete or keep it as a once a week hobby.

We are affiliated and can offer examinations with the IDTA, LAMDA, Acrobatic Arts, ABRSM, Rock School, and Trinity. We also have links to a top casting agent which we recommend students to.


All Spencer Stage School teachers are DBS checked, professionally trained by the top schools in London. In an unregulated industry you can be confident that your child is in the best hands at SSS to enjoy and flourish within the performing arts. ​

ALYS ETTENFIELD

School Director/Principal

Alys started dancing at the age of 2 and never stopped! Alys trained at Millennium Performing Arts and then went on to work all over the world as a professional dancer, actress and singer, and has also appeared in a number of Radio commercials, Films and TV programmes including Emmerdale.

Alys has over fifteen years of teaching experience, a degree in Performing Arts and Education and is IDTA qualified so she can provide the highest level of teaching possible. Alys loves to change between styles including modern, funky routines and classical musical theatre to ensure students gain a diverse knowledge of dance, singing and acting and are always having fun! Alys always provides exciting and vibrant lessons, whilst focusing on creativity, technique and performance skills.


Favourite Musical: Miss Siagon, Hamilton and Come From Away, but I love the fun dancing of Saturday Night Fever!

Favourite Song: Gloria Estefan - Conga, because it gets everyone dancing!

CAROL HEFFERNAN

Dance, Drama, Singing

Carol studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and the College of Dance Ireland London where she gained a BA (Hons) in Performance (Musical Theatre Option) and a Diploma in Dance. Carol teaches dance, drama and singing for various schools around London. Her pupils have won numerous awards including: ‘Pitch Perfect Team’ and ‘Overall Musical Theatre Winners’ at Pinapple’s Edmonton Glee competition 2017, 2018 and 2019. Carol has many Theatre Credits under her belt;

CHARLOTTE TUDOR

Drama, Performing Arts

Charlotte trained in Musical Theatre at both Bird College and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and holds a foundation and BA (hons) Degree. Professional Credits include:  Dancer for the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, Various contracts on 

board cruise ships as a singer, featured as the main girl in Lady Leshurr’s Music video ‘Live Like a Captain’, featured as a Land Girl in film ‘The Secret’, performed in various concerts in and around London as a soloist, sang solo with a 52 piece orchestra for ‘100 years of TV and Film Music’ at the Blackheath Halls, played Cadaver in the musical ‘Doomwatch Castle’, and most recently took part in a sight specific run of performances at the Tower of London marking the centenary of WW1. Charlotte attended a Saturday Stage School in Berkshire from the age of 6, it was here that she found her passion for performing. Charlotte hopes that her teaching will go on to inspire other young performers!

ELOISE CONSIDINE

Street, Jazz, Pop, Acro, Tap, Singing

Eloise started performing at the age of 4 and competed in festivals across the country where she become the All England Tap Champion by the age of 15. She also played the body double of Elizabeth Earl in the feature film The Greatest Store In The World. Eloise won a DaDa scholarship to train at Millennium Performing Arts college London. After 3 years intensive training, her first job upon leaving was as principle dancer in the show La Calisto at the Royal Opera House, West End. Eloise has been performing professionally ever since and her recent credits have been national and international tours as the lead in various plays and Musicals, The Crazy Coqs Show, the lead in 3 shows touring Germany and filming Suffragette as Lady Suffragette, 2015.  Eloise is a qualified IDTA teacher. With her passion for teaching and choreographing, accompanied by her crazy energy everyone loves Eloise’s classes!

JORDAN HARAPIAK

Acro, Contemporary, Jazz

Jordan is a professional freelance dancer from Canada. She graduated with a BA (Honors) from The London Contemporary Dance School in 2015. Jordan went on the train as a member of JV2- Jasmin Vardimon's Professional Development Course where she toured across the UK. In 2018 Jordan become a company dancer for a Devon based touring company called Chhaya Collective. She is currently working on various other projects with FRONTLINE dance and Cathy Waller Company. Along side training and performing she also teaches ballet, jazz, acro, gymnastics and cheerleading at various schools and studios across London. 

Jordan has a huge passion for dance and wants to help others strive to pursue their passions as well!

NICK CROWLEY

Performing Arts, Ballet, Acro, Jazz, Drama

Nicks dance training started as a very young boy, not wanting to miss out on the opportunities given to his older sister, he demanded that he should also be taken to Ballet class! His love of the Performing Arts grew into his teenage years, inspired by watching and performing in musicals,  he then got a scholarship to train in Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy. Since then Nick has been performing as well as teaching, with some highlights including touring China, performing at the O2 Arena, Pantomimes, Dancing with Jason Gardner for ITV and even a short time in a pop group with a song in the top 100! He is thrilled to be part of the team at SSS, and  is keen to pass on the physical skills, artistic insight, and opportunities that performing has given him over the years, to the next generation.

UGHETTA PRATESI

Ballet, Workshops

Ughetta started her training at the Jane Lawton Dance Theatre School in Italy (RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern) and she completed her dance studies in England at Laine Theatre Arts in ISTD Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Jazz, along with Musical Theatre, Drama and Singing, graduating with a National Diploma in Professional Dance, and went on to do an extra year at Guilford School of Acting to gain a First Class BA (Hons) in Theatre. As a dancer she’s performed extensively in contemporary dance and physical theatre, has worked on music videos, short and feature films (including Les Miserables, Universal Pictures). As a choreographer and movement director she has worked both in the Uk and internationally, on theatre productions, music videos and films. Since 2016 Ughetta has been the resident choreographer for City Academy Musical Theatre Company and has worked on the following productions:“The Wedding Singer”, “Guys and Dolls”,“Fame-the Musical” and “Legally Blonde” at the Polish Theatre and Pantomines “Cinderella”, “Dick Whittinghton”, “Aladdin. Ughetta also teaches in schools in and around London, both ballet, preparing students for ISTD and IDTA exams, and jazz/musical theatre, preparing kids for  local and west end shows. She also teaches classes of contemporary/jazz at Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden and is guest teacher in various school in her native Italy.

LLANDYL GOVE

Performing Arts, Ballet, Piano, Singing

Llandyll trained at the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts and has worked extensively in the industry for over 10 years.  He is currently in the original West End cast of 9 to 5: The Musical at the Savoy Theatre.  His previous theatre credits include the original London cast of American Idiot, the European Premiere of The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin at Theatre Royal Stratford East, the World Premier of TriOperas at The Peacock Theatre in the West End and the UK Tours of Grease, Saturday Night Fever and 20th Century Boy: The Marc Bolan Musical. Llandyll has also performed in many Pantomimes across the country including Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.  He was also in the movie musical Walking on Sunshine. Llandyll has taught for some of the UK’s top Musical Theatre colleges and has also worked for Stagecoach Theatre Arts for many years teaching singing, dancing and acting.
